Johannes Rittershausen serves as Convergent's Co-CEO and member of the board. Prior to co-founding Convergent with Frank Genova in 2011, Johannes worked as a senior project manager in corporate strategic planning and the electric vehicle readiness unit at Southern California Edison (“SCE”) from January 2007 to November 2011. Johannes began his career in the utility industry in 2007 as an analyst in SCE’s power procurement business unit, performing functions in commodity trading, long-term resource planning, and ISO market settlements. Johannes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, with a focus in Economics, from Pomona College and a Master of Arts from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Services.

Frank Genova serves as Convergent's Co-CEO and member of the board. Prior to co-founding Convergent with Johannes Rittershausen in 2011, Frank worked in project development and finance with Fisher Brothers and Plaza Construction, focusing on renewable development, renewable integration, complex mechanical and electrical system integration, and corporate strategy. He also co-founded RG Capital Partners in 2011, where he served as Managing Director until July 2015. Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Phi Kappa Phi, from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business. Since April 2016, he serves a Member of Advisory Board of Villanova University’s College of Engineering.

Mariko McDonagh Meier serves as Convergent's as Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining Convergent August, 2021, Mariko served as Chief Operating Officer for Mirah, a mental health software company. She previously held several senior management positions across marketing, regulatory affairs and operations at Enel X (formerly EnerNOC) from June 2013 to August 2020. From 2009 to 2011, she was a Project Manager at SCE’s Strategic Projects group. She began her career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company, focusing on Cleantech clients. Mariko holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She lives in Boston, MA with her husband, two daughters, and three-legged cat.

Sebastián serves as Chief Legal and People Officer, leading the company’s legal and people operations functions, as well as the project and land acquisitions teams. Prior, he served as Convergent’s Deputy General Counsel. Sebastián is committed to advancing the clean energy transition and brings over a decade of experience as a transactional lawyer in which he advised on projects and transactions in 15 jurisdictions throughout the Americas. Before joining Convergent, Sebastián served as Senior Associate in the Energy Transactions and Projects group at Vinson & Elkins LLP, as Senior Associate in the Projects group at Herbert Smith Freehills, as Counsel at New Fortress Energy, and as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Sebastián holds a Juris Doctorate equivalent degree from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, a Masters of Laws from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and a Certificate in Business Administration from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

Donald J. Jenkins serves as Convergent’s Chief Operating Officer. Don entered the energy storage sector through various roles at Enel X (previously EnerNOC), a division of multinational power company, Enel. At Enel X, Don held several senior management positions including Vice President of Global Operations, General Manager of Utility Bill Management, and Chief Data Scientist. Don began his career as an enlisted US Marine, supporting United States Marine Corps aviation operations in the United States and Japan. Don earned a commission in the US Navy, where he served as a submarine warfare officer and certified naval nuclear engineer before retiring from active duty in 2007. Most recently, Don served as the Chief Operating Officer for Mirah, a software company focused on enabling evidence-based practices in mental healthcare. Jenkins earned his PhD in Data Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, successfully defending his dissertation on The Application of Business Analytics Approaches for Climate-Change-Related Challenges. Jenkins also holds a Bachelor of Science and Arts in electrical engineering from the University of San Diego.

Russ Laplante serves as Convergent’s Chief Financial Officer. Russ joins Convergent from Savion, a utility-scale solar and energy storage project development company, where he served as Chief Investment Officer and spent a decade overseeing M&A as well as leading tax equity transactions, project finance, and valuation. Prior to joining Savion, Laplante was Vice President of Business Development at Tradewind Energy and a founding member of OwnEnergy, a utility scale wind development company where he managed development, offtake and construction financing. Laplante began his career at Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Russ lives in Jersey City, NJ with his son and fiancé.

Kevin Borden serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Product. Prior to joining Convergent, Kevin was the Head of Marketing for Enel X’s energy services in North America, which includes distributed energy resources and demand response. He also led customer-centric product innovation efforts at Emerson and Yingli Solar and has launched several new products and services. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management.

Peter Cavan serves as Convergent's Senior Vice President of Market Development and leads the team responsible for answering the question, "Where next?" Peter has spent over a decade in distributed energy for commercial and utility customers. Prior to joining Convergent, Peter led regulatory affairs for Centrica Business Solutions North America, covering demand response, solar, storage, energy efficiency, EV charging, and other matters at the state and federal levels. He also served in regulatory and commercial roles at EnerNOC and Pulse Energy. Peter holds a Bachelor in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Durham and a Master of Management from the University of British Columbia's Sauder Business School.

Adam Green serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations and has been with Convergent since 2018. He leads the team responsible for structuring, negotiation, and execution of long-term offtake agreements with utility and C&I customers. Adam has over ten years of experience with energy storage and solar, having developed hundreds of megawatts in three continents, most recently as Director of Development at SolarReserve. He has also written technical papers on solar and thermal storage and holds two patents. Adam graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a concentration of his own design entitled “Rationality and Decision Making,” and holds Master’s in Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Katie Guerry serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Regulatory and Government Affairs. Katie’s 19-year energy market career includes diverse commercial, legal, risk, and regulatory experience in North America supported portfolios of diverse commodities and technology types including wind, solar, DR, DER, energy storage, EV charging, natural gas, and oil. Prior to Convergent, she was the Head of Regulatory Affairs in North America for Italian-based Enel X; with similar regulatory leadership positions at demand response provider EnerNOC before its acquisition by Enel X in 2018. Her first 10 years in energy were at Hess Corporation supporting their competitive energy supplier business. Katie has twice served as Chair and Vice-Chair of PJM Member’s and Liaison Committees and provided expert testimony for Federal and State agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the College of William and Mary and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School.

Senior Vice President, Asset Portfolio Management

Steve Meyers is Senior Vice President of Asset Portfolio Management at Convergent, where he oversees the performance and profitability of the company’s fleet of operating battery storage and solar energy systems.

Steve brings nearly three decades of experience at the intersection of energy technology and finance. Prior to joining Convergent, he served as Chief Product Officer at Sparkfund, where he led product strategy and corporate development. He has held senior leadership roles in both public and private companies, including serving as President of EnerPath, where he guided the company through a successful acquisition by Lime Energy

Earlier in his career, Steve worked with growth companies across the energy ecosystem—as a consultant to global energy firms and cleantech startups, an investor in distributed energy resources, an engineer in ESCOs in the US and Asia, and a research scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. He has deep expertise in software, distributed energy, energy markets, and commercial strategy.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Haverford College, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration in Energy Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children and is an avid cyclist, skier, and guitarist who enjoys spending time outdoors.

Raj Serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Capital Markets with over a decade of experience in renewable energy finance. Prior to joining Convergent, Raj led a team at Citigroup in managing a multibillion-dollar tax equity portfolio comprised of utility-scale, distributed generation, and residential solar projects in addition to structuring, closing, and funding tax equity transactions. Prior, Raj structured over 2GW of wind projects at GE Energy Financial Services. Before entering renewable energy, Raj was a corporate derivatives banker, structuring interest rate and FX solutions at Merrill Lynch (now BofA) covering the energy and power sector. Raj holds a Bachelor in Technical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University.

David serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Analytics, and has played a central role in identifying opportunities for and driving the performance of the company’s energy storage and solar-plus-storage portfolio since 2015. Prior to joining Convergent, David worked at EnerNOC on the demand response team managing its portfolio in the PJM region. He has experience in day-to-day operations and long-term strategy execution in capacity and energy markets. David holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth in Mathematics and Economics.

Kate Siskel serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications, and has led marketing at Convergent since March 2018. Prior to joining Convergent, Kate drove marketing and media strategies, along with influencer engagement, at the national nonprofit the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. She previously owned all marketing and communications efforts at startup BrightFarms, where she led a team to rebrand the company and secured strategic media placements including Forbes, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. In 2009, Kate entered the media sector as a production assistant at CBS News’ The Early Show (now CBS This Morning). Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Arts from New York University.

Tremor Temchin serves as Convergent’s Senior Vice President, Business Development, and Head of Canada. Since joining Convergent in 2014, Tremor has been instrumental in developing, operating, and maintaining many of Convergent’s energy storage solutions, and he represents Convergent on Energy Storage Canada’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Convergent, Tremor served as the Founder and Executive Director of the Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation. Tremor graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College and holds a Master of Arts from the University of the South Pacific’s Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development.

Cortney Zaret serves as Corporate Controller and is responsible for Convergent’s accounting and tax operations. Prior to joining Convergent, Cortney served as Controller at Ørsted North America, where she managed the growth and integration of all US accounting areas including Audit, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll and Payables. Cortney subsequently served as Head of Accounting and Administration at Bluestar Energy Capital, where she created and built out financial operations and administrative functions in a renewables-focused start-up environment. Cortney has over 17 years of experience in a broad range of accounting and finance leadership and consulting roles across several industries including real estate, manufacturing and environmental services.

Cortney holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from McGill University and a Master of Science in accountancy from Walsh College of Business. She also holds Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant designations.
